Your daily business will involve

  • Drive the development and improvement of our electrical, thermal and aging battery models 
  • Breaking down difficult challenges and successfully delivering customer value on schedule 
  • Take on responsibility for our modeling processes with a focus on the battery aging part 
  • Research and apply new approaches for aging models to complement and improve our existing tools and models
  • Closely collaborating in a cross-functional team of Frontend, DevOps, Cloud Engineers, Battery/Machine Learning Engineers, Product Manager & UX Designer to jointly develop & deliver the best possible products to our customers 
  • Work closely with our lab engineers on improving existing testing approaches  

Your profile

  • M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field 
  • 4+ years experience in battery modeling and simulation (industry or academia, e.g. Ph.D.) 
  • Strong experience with battery aging modeling & simulation 
  • Experience with electrical and thermal battery models 
  • Excellent skills in Matlab/Simulink  
  • Skills in Python and general software engineering are a plus 
  • Hands-on and customer facing personality 
  • Clear communicator and team player, highly motivated mindset 
  • Comfortable with initiating and taking ownership of projects
