TWAICE appoints Marc Paczian as CCO

Leading battery analytics software company highlights the priority of customers for the organization by elevating all technical customer activities to C-Level.

‍

Marc Paczian joins TWAICE's management board as Chief Customer Officer (CCO), effective immediately. Paczian, who joined TWAICE from Dropbox in July 2021, has till now been VP Solution Engineering, a role that is extensively involved in technologies for sustainable renewable energy. After only one year, he is moving up to the TWAICE executive level.

The new CCO position emphasizes TWAICE’s commitment to customer development and technical support. Paczian's promotion also reflects the predictive battery analytics specialists’ strong customer growth. The two areas of Solution Engineering and Customer Success (pre-sales and post-sales) will be combined and, with Paczian at the helm, have a strong voice on the management board. This is "the next logical step in our transition from a battery analytics software developer to a solution-oriented SaaS platform," commented TWAICE founder and co-CEO Dr. Michael Baumann.

TWAICE founder and co-CEO Dr. Stephan Rohr added: "We are very proud that TWAICE has been able to establish itself as such a successful company after the start-up phase, inspiring top-class international executives to join us." Rohr was also referring to Silicon Valley heavyweight Jeff Glasson, who took up his post as TWAICE CTO in February 2022 following successful posts at HP, Apple and NeXT.

Excited about his new leadership challenge at TWAICE, Marc Paczian said: "In my new role, I will do my utmost to help our valued customers, both existing and new, from the initial interactions to ongoing business operations support in achieving their goal of linking commercial success with a shift to greener, more sustainable technologies.

Prior to TWAICE, Paczian was Head of Channel Solutions EMEA at US collaboration platform Dropbox. Before that, he worked as Director Solution Consulting Central Region at Open Text from 2008 to 2016 and Senior Process Manager at Tchibo from 2003 to 2008.

Marc Paczian is married, father of two and devoted master to Andro, the family’s Entlebucher mountain dog. Marc is a big music fan, follows all FC St. Pauli matches, cycles daily, and enjoys playing darts, which also hones his strong focus on goals.
